God wants us to monitor our “yes and no” today! Just because someone has asked you to do something doesn’t mean that you have to do it. Be cautious to what you say “yes” to. Don’t allow life to pressure you into making haste decisions. The very thing you say “NO” to can make room for you to say “YES” to something God has ordained for you to do.

There is one true reference guide that will give you the right directions. The bible is your spiritual Google Maps. Newspapers, radio or television can not accurately give you the best route to take when you encounter em passes and jams in life. The bible discusses every scenario you will come across. It’s the supreme navigation guide for your life. When you spend time in the Word you will soon be directed back on course.

II Corinthians 4:3-4 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose mind the god of his age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God, should shine on them.

The best opportunity for restoration is to get in a quiet place with God. Allow yourself to find rest in the presence of the Lord. When you spend time with Him, He will restore your mind, body and soul.

Psalms 23:3 He restores my soul, He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

Today remember that God is in control. Regardless of what cards life may deal you, God is ever present. Allow God’s unwavering protection to be your constant source of strength. When we keep God first in our lives, we give ourselves the opportunity to walk in victory each and every day!

Prayer is an intimate conversation between God and man. Many of us know how to pray. Yet, few of us expect our prayers to be answered. Pray with confidence and expectation. He may not answer our prayers when we want, but He is always on time!

Matthew 21:22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.

Choose to walk in humility! Allow praise to come from someone other than yourself. No one wants to hear of all your accolades/accomplishments unless you are in an interview. Self-promotion will only last for a matter of moments. Godly promotion will last a lifetime!

Proverbs 27:1 Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; A stranger, and not your own lips.

Be secure in who God has made and called you to be. He has a specific purpose tailored just for you. You are a masterpiece! Don’t lose yourself in trying to duplicate someone else . Your originality is cherished in the eyes of God. Just like the snowflakes, there will never be another you!
